The 2022 Festival will feature a very select one-hundred artists.  This is intentionally down from our usual number of 135.  We will have wider booths for all artists and present only the very highest quality work. 

North Street and Beaufort Street booths will all be priced at $300.  Booths on the Roundabout will be $350.

Last year was our first time presenting the festival as a fall event.

We had several artists sell out of all artwork on the first day!  

How to apply 2022 Sugar Creek Arts Festival? It's Simple!

All applicants will need to both create and account and (1) sign in to EntryThingy to upload 3 images here: EntryThingy - McLean County Arts Center

(1 photo of three different artworks) providing a description, dimensions, and medium) and also (2)register & pay the $25 fee by returning to this page and clicking the green "register button below. 

STEP 1.) Register at EntryThingy  below and submit (3) photos of work and one image of your booth display.

Please fill out your information, artists description and category, and submit high-quality digital images of three representative works in .jpg format. and a photo of your booth/ display set up. Jpg image files should be titled, saved, and sent as (yourlastname_1), 2,3 and (yourlastname,_booth).

All applicants accepted will be notified on June 30th.

After submitting your photos to EntryThingy, both the completed application and $25 application fee are due to the McLean County Arts Center by the deadline of May 31st, 2022.

The Sugar Creek Arts Festival is a juried show of fine art and fine craft featuring one hundred and Thirty exhibitors from across the nation in a variety of disciplines.  This outdoor festival is October 8th & 9th in Uptown Normal, Illinois.  Sugar Creek will return to the beautiful streets of uptown Normal. The venue has ample parking for both artists and patrons, and with 20,000 visitors the festival has great public recognition. Sugar Creek Arts Festival is presented by the McLean County Arts Center, one of the oldest community arts organizations in the Midwest. If the state determines certain restrictions for the Covid19 virus, we will be in compliance with said regulations.  If regulations call for it, the festival may be canceled.

Instructions for Entrants After Entry is Submitted:


Applications will not be reviewed without confirmation of application fee payment. A non-refundable application fee of $25 can be made through our secure website at www.mcac.org, over the phone by calling (309) 829-0011, in person at the MCAC (When we open again to public), or by sending a check to the MCAC at 601 N. East St Bloomington, IL 61701.

Terms of Entry for Entrants:
All fine art and fine craft will be accepted for jury. The artwork presented must be original and created by the exhibiting artist. All artwork must be for sale. No more than 50% of a booth may be composed of giclee prints or other items of this type. Castings from commercial molds, kit items, buy/sell items, unlimited series and/or mass editions will not be permitted. The MCAC reserves the right to exclude any work it deems unsuitable for display, or which was misrepresented in the application.

Artists exhibiting Buy/Sell Items will be removed from the festival and applications and booth fees will not be refunded.

Professional artists external to the MCAC serve as paid jurors.

If the state determines certain restrictions for the Covid19 virus, we will be in compliance with said regulations. If regulations call for it, the festival may be canceled.

Instructions for Accepted Entrants:

All applicants must have a standardized white tent and proper displays.
