McLean County Arts Center

Facility Rental

Facility use is always dependent upon the Arts Center’s availability and exhibitions. Some exhibitions will not permit event scheduling. Rentees are liable for any damage to facilities and artwork.

The MCAC rental rate is $100 per hour with a four-hour minimum. Non-profit organizations seeking a reduced rate may submit, in writing, an appeal for discount.

All facilities used must be scheduled in advance. Rental fees are subject to the entire time of use, not just for event hours.  If set-up time and/or clean up time is needed, rental rates are in effect. Use during open hours must be approved by the MCAC Executive Director.

The staff is happy to provide a facilities tour to prospective guests. One tour per event before booking is free.

Rental parties are responsible for all post-event clean-up. If extra clean-up is needed these will be billed to rentee at commercial rates.

If alcohol is being served the following conditions must be met:

-Alcoholic beverages must be distributed by a Bloomington based restaurant with a valid and up to date liquor license.

-The restaurant must extend their liquor liability insurance so as to cover the McLean County Arts Center for the day(s) of the event.

-Proof of coverage must be presented 48 hours in advance of the event.

The MCAC has and will provide upon request chairs, tables, and linens.
