Job Title: Project Coordinator
The McLean County Arts Center (MCAC) is looking for a passionate and organized Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping us inspire and engage McLean County and surrounding communities through art. You’ll assist with event planning, marketing, communications, and community outreach, ensuring our programs and events are successful and make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
Event Coordination
● Oversee logistics for major events such as Sugar Creek Arts Festival, Art’s Alive, and other fundraising events.
● Ensure successful execution of events through detailed planning and collaboration with staff and volunteers.
Marketing & Communications:
● Manage MCAC’s social media platforms and website updates to increase online presence.
● Develop and implement strategies to engage with the community and promote programs.
● Create and manage email campaigns, press releases, and mailings to MCAC members and the public.
Donor Support:
Administrative Support:● Secure and manage sponsorships, including preparing solicitation letters.
● Coordinate donor appreciation to ensure positive relationships.
● Assist the Executive Director with assigned tasks and organizational needs.
● Attend board committee meetings and provide updates as requested.
Do you have what we’re looking for:
● Experience in event coordination, or nonprofit project management preferred.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn website/content management systems.
● Experience managing social media and creating content.
● Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
● Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
● Comfortable meeting new people and building relationships.
● Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
Compensation:
● Starting salary: $35,000
● Benefits package, which includes insurance benefits, paid time off, and company holidays.
