This is one-day workshop to make a ceramic project. This is great for any bee and honey lover. Coil pottery is an approachable and fantastic way to hand-build pottery. Join Erin Furimsky in this workshop to make pots with character and individuality around the theme of bees and beehives.

In this workshop we will create pots from coils of clay positioned in consecutive rings, placed one on top of another forming a beehive like texture. You have the option of making a mug or covered jar for honey. These will be glazed with a beautiful amber glaze and available for pick up within two weeks of the workshop.

All materials provided by the MCAC including clay, glazes, tools and kiln firing.

Mission Statement: We encourage and promote the appreciation, study, cultivation, development, and practice of art for the benefit of all the people, cultures and communities of McLean County.
