This is an instructional class with the instructor working alongside the class members on a simple still life (possibly expanding into other subjects like portraits or landscapes), while explaining the techniques and uses of the different types of charcoal. This course is geared more toward first-timers or those unfamiliar with charcoal who need more hands-on instruction.
