Saturday, 3
 sessions

July 25, 26, Aug 23

 10 AM-1:30 PM

The sky (or the lid of the kiln) is the limit in this three day intensive. This intensive will guide you on how to throw larger amounts of clay, create pieces in sections to attach before or after firing, and consider surface decorations with a larger surface area. After the first two days of the intensive, you will have time to work on your own to complete a large vessel of your choice. As larger vessels take longer to create, but also to dry, you will have the month to complete and get your large vessel through the bisque kiln. We will meet for the final night to glaze the pieces. This intensive is designed for advanced throwing students.

Mission Statement: We encourage and promote the appreciation, study, cultivation, development, and practice of art for the benefit of all the people, cultures and communities of McLean County.
