Special Topics courses are for students with basic enameling experience who would like to expand their ‘toolbox’ with specialized techniques and materials. This workshop will introduce students to enameling on copper mesh (wire screen), a versatile material that allows us to easily construct small 2- or 3-dimensional forms with richly textured surfaces. Various sizes and types of mesh will be provided, along with appropriate enamels, as well as sample patterns to get us started and all necessary tools. Please join us for two fun-filled days of enameling experimentation and excitement!
