N3 Enamel Special Topics: Pens, Pencils, & Paint! with Nisa Blackmon

Special Topics are designed to teach new techniques to students with basic enameling experience. This event will introduce students to a variety of drawing & painting tools and media. We will explore the use of underglaze and graphite pencils, fine-line black paints, and even decorative gel pens! Students may apply these techniques to create jewelry pieces, decorative tiles, or just experiment & play with samples. All tools and materials provided.

Now open to students without enameling experience, but who want to learn about 2-D media for enamels!

Students who have completed either the six-session Introduction to Enamels or Introduction to Liquid Enamels at MCAC are eligible to enroll in this course. If you have enameling experience from somewhere else and would like to enroll, please contact the instructor for permission prior to registration.
