Take this workshop to learn how to capture the character and emotion of a location. We will walk around downtown Bloomington and discuss what makes a sense of place beyond “pretty scenery.”

You will learn tips for reading light, weather, and atmosphere; practice field shooting techniques; explore different frame sizes; and practice sequencing.

You will leave this class with skills in building a photo essay from a single outing.
