Today’s Stay Home Art Challenge is Pet Portraits!

Above examples are by Douglas Johnson, Mandy Roeing, and Jeremy Langston.

Some of the most famous artists have dedicated their artistic talents to animals and beloved pets. Many of the McLean County Arts Center Exhibition Artists have created works inspired by animals.  Our Current Amateur Exhibition included several and Aaron Yount and Pamela Cather's current exhibitions are all about animals!  Be sure to check out their videos on our home page!

Break out your crayons, markers, paint, camera, ipad, or any other medium and create a portrait of your pet or any other animal that captures your imagination!

Submit your finished artwork to info@mcac.org by 5 PM on Wednesday. The winner will receive a Papa John’s pizza!
