C-7 Sculptural Focused Hand Building with Erin Furimsky

Tuesdays, 6 sessions

Sept. 9, 16, 23, 30 Oct. 7, 14;

6:30-9pm

Fee: $195 (Non Member)

Lets take 6 weeks to explore the sculptural realm visually and explore the rich content they can embody. Erin will lead you through creating a simplified form before using slabs and coils to construct a few projects. The finished clay form may feel minimal, but will come to life with surface techniques, such as inlay and sgrafitto.

After 6 sessions you should leave with a few hand built vessels or sculptural forms

Enrollment in this class provides access to MCAC's kilns and our full range of ceramic glazes, plus tools and 10lbs of clay, a shelf, and access to open studio hours.
