Interested in trying Batik painting on fabric? Batik is a traditional method of painting on fabrics (on eggs is called Pysanky) using wax as a resist to maintain color purity. McLean Co. Arts Center Instructor, Jeremy Langston will guide you through the process of creating a personalized handkerchief and teach you techniques that you can use for years to come. The art center will provide all the supplies and two cotton hankerchiefs for you to learn with, please feel free to bring your own, cotton, silk or linen scarf, bag, t-shirt or fabric from home.

*Please feel free to bring your own drinks, snacks and lunch to this workshop, or pop out for lunch out in downtown Bloomington.
