Join instructor Mandy Roeing for this five hour pastel and drawing workshop. This workshop is appropriate for any level, beginner to advanced.

Come explore the emotions that can be conveyed through written and visual arts! Students will be given a selection of ekphrastic poems prior to class and can respond in pastel or any drawing medium to create a work of art they feel embodies their chosen poem. Techniques and direction will be given throughout the workshop by Mandy. When finished, we will compare student work with the original piece that inspired the poem to see the different ways of interpretation! All materials provided.
