There’s something magical about the physical process of working with raw wool, and watching it transform into fabric. Who would have imagined that wetting and agitating it could cause such a thing? In this Wet Felting Intensive MCAC Instructor Heather Evert will teach you the ancient art of feltmaking, in an easy step-by-step format. It was created with first-time felters in mind, so no experience is necessary. In week one you will work with wet wool learning the technique, creating designs and exploring texture and color and in week two you will sew what we have felted into mittens or simple hats, stockings or tea cozies.

This two session intensive is for beginners and is great for adults and teens.

*The fee includes all materials and instruction.

Mission Statement: We encourage and promote the appreciation, study, cultivation, development, and practice of art for the benefit of all the people, cultures and communities of McLean County.
