Intermediate Pastel with Mandy Roeing: The Midwest Landscape

Join instructor Mandy Roeing for this five hour pastel painting workshop. This workshop is appropriate for those who have had at least one pastel class or have been exploring pastels on their own. This workshop is NOT appropriate for students who have never worked with pastels.

Bring reference photos you've taken of your favorite Midwest scenes and create a painting! Students will learn techniques to create textures in our local landscape and how to use atmospheric perspective to create the illusion of space on a two dimensional surface. All materials provided.

*Please feel free to bring your own drinks, snacks and lunch to this workshop.
