MCAC Youth WORKSHOPS: 7+

Our hands-on Saturday art workshops set the stage for a lifetime of art appreciation. We focus on quality instruction and small class size. Join us to discover why so many of our students come back year after year!

Registration Policies:

Your class registration is not complete until your payment is processed. Lack of timely payment (24 hours) will result in your partial registration being deleted. 

Class registration may be cancelled up to 7 days before the start of class for a full refund. 

Class registration may be transferred up to 7 days before the start of class. Only one transfer is allowed, per registration/payment.

    Karen Brinker will lead this one-time exploration in ceramics for youth ages 7+.

    Lets get our hands dirty! In this class students will work with natural clay to create an Autumn-inspired sculptural project. Students will decorate their sculpture with surface techniques and colorful underglaze. Please allow time for drying, bisque firing, and glaze firing. Student work will be available for pick-up two weeks after class.

    Karen Brinker will lead this one-time exploration in drawing/painting for youth ages 7+.   

    Calling all art and animal lovers! It's time to make some animal art! In this class, students will create an animal collage inspired by artists Deborah Shapiro and Michel Keck. Students may bring images of animals they love to this class.
