Please join us virtually on September 17  from 6-8 PM  to support our mission of community building through the arts! We encourage and promote the appreciation, study, cultivation, development, and practice of the Arts in McLean County. An independent 501(C)3 non-profit organization, we are the arts agency for McLean County. Take part in our fine art auction or raffle, view a special keynote presentation on the Architecture & History of our building, learn more about how we serve our community. As part of our annual Fall Fundraiser, we are now offering CDC approved 3-layer masks featuring original renderings of historic buildings by Douglas Johnson, Executive Director of MCAC!


$15 for a small or large Mask & $7 for a matching pouch (tax included)!

 Ryburn Place -Historic Route 66 Landmark in Normal, Illinois. Sprague’s Super Service was completed in the early 1930’s by local contractor William W Sprague to meet the needs of travelers along Route 66. It had a restaurant, gas station, and garage. The tudor-revival building is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Funk’s Grove Depot– Historic Route 66 Landmark in Funks Grove, Illinois. The Chicago & Alton depot was built in Shirley prior to 1909 and was moved to Funks Grove in the early 1970’s. The depot is on the historic register with the Illinois Historical Society.

McLean County Arts Center – Historic Landmark in Bloomington, Illinois. This building was designed by renowned architect Arthur L. Pillsbury, and dedicated as home to the First Congregational Church in 1909. It housed several different denominations until 1979, when the McLean County Arts Center made this historic building its home.
