Stay Home Art Challenge, Day 22

Nature Art Challenge

Today’s art challenge is based on the work of British sculptor, photographer and environmentalist, Andy Goldsworthy. Andy produces sculptures made completely of natural objects, brightly colored flowers, icicles, leaves, mud, pinecones, snow, stone, twigs, and thorns. Most of his works are temporary, they last for a few seconds or for a day, and they live on only through his photographs of each piece. Since spring is here, or almost here, we thought it would be a great time to go out for a hike or explore your backyard and create a Goldsworthy style sculpture of your own.

Please email a photo submission of your sculpture to the Arts Center at info@mcac.org by Wednesday at 5:00pm.
