The McLean County Arts Center presents the exhibition "tread lightly my dear, for you tread on my dreams" in the Brandt Gallery from August 12 through September 2, 2016. The Artist Reception with Dawn Gettler will be on Friday, August 26 from 5 to 7 pm.

Dawn Gettler creates mixed media installations incorporating sculptural models, video documentation, and concept drawings. She explores the human conditions of longing and desire through her ephemeral installations.

Dawn Gettler is an interdisciplinary artist in Peoria Illinois. She earned her MFA from Ohio University, Athens, and her BFA from University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls. She is the Program Manager and Gallery Coordinator at the Prairie Center for the Arts in Peoria.
