Bravo Charlie Alpha - Kevin Goodrich Reception

  • May 06, 2016
  • 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
  • McLean County Arts Center 601 N East St Bloomington IL 61701

In the Armstrong Gallery from April 22 - June 11, Kevin Goodrich will exhibit large scale canvas paintings made with copier-machine toner and acrylic. The toner is applied through a silkscreen process that Goodrich states, “creates a paradox—the image looks unrepeatable, but the material speaks of reproduction. This forms a scenario in which the material and the image are both fighting to be the content of the painting.”

Kevin Goodrich received the Juror’s Choice Award in MCAC’s Emerging Illinois Artists exhibition in 2013. He earned his MFA from the School of the Art Institute in Chicago and resides in Chicago.
